For anyone that wonders about colours for their armour....afterall we all like to look our best when fighting. Here is an article from Aionsource.
Asmodian Dyes, Petals and you!!!
Well, you already know where you can by Armor Dyes, okay, lets hope you do. I’m not gonna go over the basic colors you can buy from the shop. I’m gonna discuss Petals, how to get them, where to get them, and what color you get from them. Fair enough? Lets start, shall we?
If you do not know what Petals are in game, this is because they were not in the NA/EU CBTs. Petals were added to Aion in 1.1, so we’ll have them on release with 1.5 (Well, at least we should.) Petals are another why of changing the color of your Armor. Just like the Dyes you buy in the shop, if you harvest a Petal from certain plants, you just right-click and click on the peice you would like to dye. Each faction has 7 Petals that can only be found on one of their maps. So, if the Elyos’ have a color you would like, then you are gonna need to jump a Rift to go get it. Alright, enough of the basics, lets bring on the info!* ( Yeah, I know I copy and pasted this, why re-write it when it works with both sides? )
For the Asmodian, the first plant that has the possiblity of giving you a petal is the Vinna. This plant can be harvested when your skill level is 135. This will produce a Royal/Dark Blue color when applied to your armor.**
The second plant that can produce a petal is the Kirka. This plant can be harvested when your skill level is 180. This will produce a Purple color when applied to your armor.**
The third plant is the Brommel. This plant can be harvested when your skill level is 240. This will produce a Gold color when applied to your armor.** (Personally, this looks great on Chain and Plate. )
The forth plant is the Pressa. This plant can be harvested when your skill level is 275. You will get an Orange color when applied to your armor.**
The fifth petal you can harvest at 325 comes off Merone plants. This will produce a Green/Light Green when applied to your armor.
The sixth petal you can harvest at 355 comes off Kukar plants. This will produce a Yellow when applied to your armor.
The seventh and final petal you can harvest at 390 comes off Leopis plants. This will produce a Cyan color when applied to your armor.**

For the Elyos, the first plant that has the possiblity of giving you a petal is the Wiki. This plant can be harvested when your skill level is 110. This will produce a Lime color when applied to your armor.**
The second plant that can produce a petal is the Omblic. This plant can be harvested when your skill level is 165. This will produce a Red color, although it looks more Pink to me, when applied to your armor.**
The third plant is the Meon. This plant can be harvested when your skill level is 220. What color do you think you’ll get? Yep, Yellow when you apply this to your armor.**
The forth plant is the Ormea. This plant can be harvested when your skill level is 260. You will get an Orange/Burnt Orange color when applied to your armor.**
The fifth petal you can harvest at 325 comes off Tange plants. This will produce a Purple/Light Purple when applied to your armor. (I have a feeling this will be fairly popular)**
The sixth petal you can harvest at 355 comes off Ervio plants. This will produce an Aqua/Bright Cyan when applied to your armor. (NOTE: There is another plant that is at 355 as well, however, the maps do not match so I’ll go with Strawberry.)**
The seventh and final petal you can harvest at 385 comes off Lunime plants. This will produce a Gold color when applied to your armor.**
As a final mention, Korean players can get other colored dyes by posting on their website. These dyes are close to the ones received in CBT6, the True Red and Royal Blue. In the NA/EU version they were marked as Legion Rewards. I’m not sure how these colors will be implemented in the NA/EU version of Aion.
