Within the next week Disciples of Yustiel will be undergoing a major renovation, including disbanding the new legion and bringing all our current members into our new one:
I'm sure there might be plenty of questions, why? When? Who? Where? Will there be cookies!?
So lets get the basics answered!
First and foremost...Why?
Being a heavy RP legion, we really need to have a solid backstory, or at least a legion purpose. This helps foster RP between characters that might not originally interact on their own, and also opens the door to a legion story.
Of course there is always the question, why not just make a story for Disciples of Yustiel? Considering Yustiel is known for her advocation of peace, so much so that she prefers not to fight at all, we were really pigeon-holing ourselves into being a 'peace' legion.
THIS IS NOT SAYING PEACE LOVING CHARACTERS ARE SUDDENLY OUTCASTS!!
*Ahem* Peace is indeed desired, but we know there are tons of differing types of players in Aion, some prefer the PvE combat, some the PvP, some just like to hang around and RP. Whichever works, but we don't want a legion that focuses specifically on one end of the spectrum (ie: Majority PvP or Majority PvE). Plus, we'd like to stand out on our own with a new story and not mimic other legions.
Believe me, we will work hard to make sure each of our members characters stories will fit in as to why the join us in the new Legion.
Next... Who:
Nothing will be changing in terms of people or leadership roles. Everyone (who wants too of course) will be coming over with us. Ryki/Caligo and myself will remain the leaders. We are still recruiting, etc!
Finally, when and where...
Like I said, I hope to have everyone transitioned over by the end of this week. The new boards are up and running and I tried to move as much as I could from this site over there, including character sheets (sorry if I got the formatting wrong!).
Of course Ryki and myself will be holding a meeting in-game to discuss this further and answer any questions people may have. More to come on that date later...
We are super excited for this move, and I hope everyone else is too. I know we are discussing assigning our members roles in the legion and specific "duties." But more to come on that later.
